Overview:
One of the famous tiger reserve in the country, the Tadoba National Park, is the largest and the oldest in Maharashtra. The place is ideal for a jungle safari and allows you to spot a Bengal tiger in its natural habitat. As per the recent reports, there are about 90 tigers in the park. Apart from them, the reserve is also a heaven for other mammals such as the Indian leopards, jungle cats, sloth bears, honey badgers, barking deer, hyenas, and many more. The place is also the home to many reptiles and some unique species of birds. Among all the seasons, summer is the ideal time to visit the national park if you are a true wildlife enthusiast. Though the months of March, April, and May are the hottest time of the year, it is the perfect season to spot tigers and other animals and birds with their infants as it is also their mating period.
Apart from witnessing the wild beasts of the animal kingdom, the other main attraction of the place is the safari through the dense deciduous forest of Tadoba in an open-top gypsy. The major parts of the forest are embedded in a hilly area and are covered by green meadows, valleys, and few lakes. The surrounding atmosphere of the place makes it an ideal spot to breed more tigers. The mystique ambiance of the park, along with other qualities, will make it a worthy destination for a short adventurous trip into the wild.
