Overview:

Kurseong is a beautiful hill station located at an altitude of 4783 ft. It is known for its scenic beauty and is encompassed by hills on all sides. It is not very far from Darjeeling and Siliguri’s towns and takes about 32km and 47km, respectively. It is very popularly known as the “Land of White Orchids,” as the steep slopes and ecstatic valleys are filled with vibrant white orchids. This place has a serene ambiance and cool weather, attracting a lot of tourists. If you are looking for a short break to spend your weekend holiday amidst nature and basking in its essence, then this is the best trip for you.

Day to Day Travel Slate:

Day1:

Upon your arrival at the NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will meet our guide and travel to Kurseong. As soon as you reach, you will check-in to a Heritage Bungalow / Tea estate/Tourist Lodge, which will be fitting all your luxurious needs. Enjoy the refreshments provided by the lodge, and then explore the property in the cradle of nature while sipping some enigmatic Darjeeling tea. You can have your lunch at the hotel amidst a comforting and aesthetic ambiance. Next, visit the local places, shops, and the DHR Railway station in the evening, which is very popular. Make your way back to the hotel and have an overnight stay at Kurseong after a succulent dinner.

Day2:

: With an early morning bed tea and breakfast, you will start the second day. You will visit some places in and around Kurseong, which are popular, such as Engle’s Craig, Dowhill Park, Whistle Khola, Kettle Valley, and Giddha Pahar. You can make an optional visit to any of the closest tea estates. As a guest, one has to inform early so that permission can be obtained. A known factor is that few of the world’s best tea estate is situated very close to this region. You can make your preliminary visit to the tea garden to experience and learn the art of plucking tea leaves. After that, you can visit the tea factory to watch the same tea leaves being processed. Ambootia, Makaibari, Castleton, Giddha Pahar are some of the best gardens surrounding this area. In the evening, you can spend your time while relaxing in the resort. You will then have an overnight stay in Kurseong.

Day3:

After your final and delicious breakfast at the resort, you will proceed towards NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your return journey, bidding farewell to this excellent short trip.
