Day to Day Travel Slate:
Day 1:
On your arrival at the Cochin International airport, you will be transferred to the hotel for overnight stay. Cochin, also known as Kochi, is a vibrant city, situated by the southwest coast of the India peninsula. With its rich influence from Arab, Dutch, Phoenician, Portuguese, Chinese, and British cultures, the city is an amalgamation of different histories, waiting to be explored.
Day 2:
After a delectable breakfast, you will spend your day sightseeing the beautiful city. Your first visit for the day will be to go for a harbour cruise ride and witness the Chinese Fishing Nets. The Jewish town has a history intricately woven among its 16th-century synagogues, and old country charm, waiting to be explored by you. You will then visit the gorgeous Mattancherry Palace, also popularly known as Dutch Palace. With a history that dates back to the 16th century, St. Francis Church is one of the uniquehistorical monuments in Kochi and will be your last stop for the day. Your evening will be free for leisure and shopping. Your night stay will be at the hotel.
Day 3:
The next day, after breakfast, you will go on a drive to Alleppy. Officially called Alappuzha, Alleppy is well known for its wide network of interlinking canals called backwaters.Here, upon your arrival, you will check-in at the houseboat. With the gorgeous view of the pristine scenery of the backwaters, you will easily spend the day in the comfortable houseboats.
Day 4:
After breakfast, you will go to explore the wonderful city of Alleppy. Also known as the Venice of the east, Alleppy is a beautiful town historically well known for its maritime activities. Alleppy has a beautiful beach as an exquisite and popular picnic spot. Entertainment facilities at the Vijaya Beach Park also add to the popularity of the beach. The old and gorgeous lighthouse nearbyplays a mesmerizing sight that is bound to amaze you.
Day 5:
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Munnar. The 5-hour drive from Alleppy to Munnar will be one marked with the breathtaking panoramic view of the hills and sprawling lush greenery of tea plantations. Upon your arrival at Munnar, you will check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 6:
The next day will bring you a full day of sightseeing in and around Munnar. Here you will enjoy thedelightful panoramic views of Anamudi, the highest peak of south India. After a scrumptious breakfast, you will visit the Mattupetty Dam. Located in the Idukki district, Mattupetty Lake is a perennial lake thatnever dries up,and you will enjoy an adventurous boat ride here. You will next visit the beautiful sprawling tea gardens surrounding the very serene hills of Munnar. Connected with the tea gardens is the magnificent national park, Eravikulam, which offers a spectacular view of the hills and a peek into the protected wildlife of the area. Here, visitors are allowed only to the specific tourism area of Rajamala. This wildlife park, famous for the natural habitat of NilghiriTahr will be your next destination. You will rest for the night at the hotel. After that, you will continue towards the Rajamalai hills, which lieadjacent to the park at Madupetty Dam. This beautiful hill is a famous picnic spot for boating and horse riding and will be a delightful way for you to retire for the day. You will go back to the hotel in the evening. Your overnight will be at Munnar.
**Note: Eravikulam National park is closed from Jan1st to 28thfeb every year. **
Day 7:
After breakfast, you will check out from thehotel and moved to Kovalam. After you arrive at Kovalam, you will check-in at the hotel. Here, today you will enjoy the ayurvedic activities like rejuvenation therapy (Rashyana Therapy). This treatment includes body massage with hand and foot by medicated oil and cream. You will also partake in a rejuvenatingmedicated steam bath. It has found to be suitablefor rejuvenation of minds, body, and soul to tone up the skin as well to strengthen all systems to achieve ideal health and longevity. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 8 – Day 9:
Day free for Ayurvedic treatment. Ayurvedic treatment isbased on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. And so the main goal of this old holistic approach is to promote good health. Your overnight stay will be at Kovalam.
Day 10:
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Trivandrum airport for a connecting flight towards home, with rejuvenated health and happiness.
