Overview:
A trip to the collection of islands spread across the Bay of Bengal will give you the chance to witness the marvellous creativity of God, which is the Andaman Islands. Apart from indulging in the famous water sports, you will come in contact with the natural beauty of the Ross and North Bay islands. You will spend the next couple nights under the beautiful starry sky, taking walks on the beach of Havelock Island or just lying around on the white beach. The days will allow you to mix with locals in the markets and learn about more about the original Indian Tribe- the Jarawas. Your dream holiday will be full of excitement and adventure amidst Mangrove Creeks, Mud Volcano, and historical ruins.
Day to Day Travel Slate:
Day1: ARRIVAL AT PORT BLAIR
Fly into the Port Blair Airport where our representative will meet and assist you at the Veer Savarkar Airport. Board the waiting vehicles, drive to your hotel, and check-in. After you arrive at the hotel, you can spend the rest of the morning relaxing. Later in the afternoon, a visit to the Cellular jail followed by light and sound show in the evening will be scheduled for you.
Day2: PORT BLAIR – ROSS ISLAND – NORTH BAY ISLAND (Coral Island)
The next morning after breakfast, you will embark on a day-long journey to the islands on a ferry. The day will cover a panoramic view of North Bay Island and Ross Island, also known as the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island. There you can engage yourself with different water sports like diving, snorkeling, and many more or can take a walk around the historic ruins at Ross Island. By the end of the day, the islands and their surrounding beauty will, without doubt, leave a lasting impression on you.
Day3: PORT BLAIR – HAVELOCK ISLAND
Today, during the first half of the day, you will be traveling to Havelock Island. After arriving at the jetty, you will meet our representative and board the waiting vehicles and drive to the hotel. After checking in, relax for a bit and later get ready to visit the famous Radhanagar Beach, the 7th most beautiful beach in Asia, considered to be the jewel in the crown of Havelock Island. A tropical forest surrounds the beach, and its natural beauty is a treat for the eyes.
Day4: PORT BLAIR – HAVELOCK ISLAND- NEIL ISLANDS
This day is scheduled to take place for the trip to the Neil islands. After arrival and check-in formalities, you will be heading for your local sightseeing to Laxman Pur, Bharatpur Beach, and Howrah Bridge. After your trip to the beaches, you will be taken to the hotel where you can spend the night.
Day5: NEIL ISLANDS — PORT BLAIR
The next day after breakfast, you will be heading back to Port Blair. Then in the evening, you will take a trip to Corbyn Cove Beach. This represents an accessible location for water sport activities. The beach has stolen many tourists’ hearts with its astounding scenery and mystical surroundings. You can also appease your tongue as well as your quenching thirst for shopping with the different food and shopping stalls available at the beach.
Day6: PORT BLAIR – BARATANG ISLAND – PORT BLAIR
The following day you will rise with the sun and head to Baratang Island. Dense tropical forests cover this island. From tidal swamp forests and littoral forests by the coast to a muddy volcano and limestone caves, this trip has been designed for those who enjoy experiencing the wild in its raw form.
This day’s trip will cover your visit to the Mud Volcano Limestone caves, boat journey through Mangrove Creeks, and in the evening, return to Port Blair. This perfect day will end on a complete note with a visit to the Jarawas (the original tribe of India) on your way back, where you will come across their lifestyle and much more.
Day7: PORT BLAIR – CITY TOURS
After breakfast, you will proceed for a tour of the Port Blair City, halting at different stops, such as, the Anthropological Museum which displays the tools, models habitats, art and handcrafts of the original tribes of Andaman & Nicobar Islands—followed by Chatham Saw Mill, Forest Museum, Samdudrika (Naval Marine Museum), and Gandhi Park, Fisheries museum, Science Centre and water sports complex. Later in the evening, you can spend the rest of the day at the local market.
Day8: PORT BLAIR – WANDOOR BEACH & CHIDIYATAPU
Next day, you will proceed for Wandoor Beach, a fascinating beach of Port Blair, and on the way, you will make a small detour to the Agriculture farm and the Tsunami affected area & the Rubber Plantation. After Lunch, you will be enjoying the sunset at the famous sunset point called the Chidiya Tapu. With the sunsetand the day coming to an end, your trip will also come to an end on the next day.
Day9: DEPART FROM PORT BLAIR – AIRPORT DROPPING
In the morning, after checking out, you will be dropped to the airport with memories of this terrific holiday you spent at the Andaman Islands.
