Day to Day Travel Slate:
Day 1:
Flight to Delhi from Kolkata. Upon your arrival, you will get checked in at a hotel. After a delicious and filling lunch, you can go around the city of Delhi to explore its rich history. Delhi is an amalgamation of ancient meeting the modern. The streets of Old Delhi hold stories of the different rulers within them. You will easily find yourself enthralled by the beauty and heritage of the Red Fort, Humayun’s tomb, and Jama Masjid.
Later, in the evening, you will proceed to the narrow gullysof old Delhi for a Food Trail near the Old Jama Masjid area. Here you can pamper your taste buds with delicious kababs at Kareem’s, and a variety of staples in the Paratha Gully, famed from 1850 for its variety.
Day 2:
You will have an early morning check out from the hotel for Delhi airport to take flight for Shimla. With lush steep forested hills on all sides, Shimla has become one of the most sought-after hill resorts.
After arrival, you will proceed towards Chindi. Enveloped by orchards of apples and dense hilly woods of deodars, Chindi is one of the most picturesque places in Himachal. After reaching Chindi, you will check-inat the Hotel Mamleshwar.The hotel has an excellent location and is ideal for leisure.
Day3:
After breakfast, your day will begin with some local sightseeing at Chindi. After that, you will proceed for Manali. The drive from Chindi to Manali is one filled with the view of snow-capped mountains and lush green forests. On arrival at Manali, you will check-in at the hotel. Night stay at Manali.
Day 4:
After breakfast, You will have the day for some local sightseeing at Manali. Your first stop for the day will be Hidimbadevi Temple. With links to the mythology of Mahabharata, the temple is of distinct significance for the devotees. The Vashisht bath, famous for its hot spring, will be your next destination. This hot Turkish designed bath is believed to have healing properties. Your evening will be free for shopping of local handicrafts and gorgeous tribal pieces of jewelry.
Day 5:
This day will take you on a Rohtang Pass tour (valid from May to October). As you will travel up the valley, you won’t be able to help but admire the dramatic landscapes draped in front of you. This trip will include a visit to Solang valley and Gulaba. Gulaba is also famous amongst adventure enthusiasts, due to its engaging adventure activities. Evening free for leisure.
Day 6:
Transfer to Kullu via Manikaran. Kullu, revered for the temples of its local deities and admired for its natural beauty, is the perfect last stop for any traveler returning home from Himachal. You can visit the markets of Kullu and purchase the unique, vibrant Kullu Shawl. Night stay at Kullu.
Day 7:
You will depart early morning for Kullu airport (Bhuntar) to take a flight meant for Delhi. From Delhi, you will receive a connecting flight back to Kolkata and return home with stories of adventure and nature mingling into one, until next time.
