Overview:
Your trip to the Andaman Islands will be all about taking long walks on the white powder beaches, far away from the bustling everyday city life where you can savour the seclusion of deserted islands surrounded by mangrove forests all around. You will be spending the next few days of your life snorkeling among coral reefs with underwater marine life. The visits to different museums will enhance your knowledge about the people and life on those mesmerizing islands. You will also be visiting the Radhanagar Beach, which is the 7th most beautiful beach in Asia, and gather knowledge about the history of brutality at the Cellular Jail through light and sound show, which will connect you to the history of Port Blair.
Day to Day Travel Slate:
Day1:
Arrive at Port Blair airport by an early morning flight. After checking into your respective hotel, take some rest and go for some local sightseeing at Fishery Museum, Anthropological Museum, Naval Marine museum (Samudrika), Chatham sawmill. In the evening, proceed to Cellular Jail for the light and sound show. After an enlightening day, you will return to the hotel where you will be spending the night.
Day2:
After breakfast, you will be ready to take a 2.5hours travel to Havelock Island by sea. After settling down at your hotel, you will receive a cab that will take you to the beach no. 7, which is the Radhanagar beach and Vijaynagar beach. The beauty of the beach is mesmerizing, and you will be spending your day there, relaxing and soaking in the natural beauty that is around you. Later, after enjoying the sunset on the shore you will return to your hotel for the night.
Day3:
The next day, you will take a tour of the local sites around Havelock Island. Later in the day, visit the Elephant beach where you can take a dive in the cold water of the blue sea or just be on the beach enjoying some Vitamin-D on your skin. The calm blue shallow sea by the hard-coral reef, close to the shore is perfect for snorkeling.
Day4:
Spend your day relaxing and savouring every moment at the flawless seashore of Kalapathar beach, which is a dynamic perspective on the Bay of Bengal. Later, you will be transferred to Port Blair, where you will have the rest of the day to yourself. Take a local tour around Port Blair and visit places like- Rajiv Gandhi National Park, Corbyn’s Cove, etc.
Day5:
On this new day, you will be visiting the Hutbay, the capital city of Little Andaman, on the government ferry. The city hosts India’s largest palm plantation, which is also the 2nd largest in the whole of Asia. Your trip to Hutbay will be worthwhile. In the evening you will be safely transported back to your hotel where you will spend the night. A visit to the city of Hutbay has been a recent addition to the itinerary.
Day6:
With your wonderful trip coming to an end, you will be dropped to the airport after breakfast. There you will board your flight back home with a heart full of lovely memories from the trip.
