Overview:
Odisha, also sometimes known as the soul of India, is a gorgeous coastal state with magnificent beaches and beautiful temples. This is a place where you can relax on the beaches, visit and explore the beauty of nature and wildlife in abundance. Your adventure in the city will move from the city of Bhitarkanika, a beautiful city with the second largest mangrove eco-system in India, to Panchalingeshwar, along with stops at Ekakula and Chandbali. Ekakula will bring you a deeper appreciation of the ocean and the sun setting amidst the waves, while the visit to the Jagannath temple will give you a glimpse into the nature of faith and people. As you cruise through this adventure, you will find yourself falling in love with nature and the culture of Odisha over and over again.
Day to Day Travel Slate:
Day 1:
Upon your arrival at Bhadrak station, you will then be transferred to Chandbali to launch Ghat. From here, after a delicious breakfast, you will be taken for memorable three days Ferry safari to Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary. The Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary, due to its wonderfully diverse area, has also been designated as the second Ramsar site (i.e., Wetland of International importance) of the State during August 2002 and referred to as the Bhitarkanika National park. With its unique diversity, it is one of India’s biggest estuarine crocodile habitats, and a major coastal eco-system and hence would be a delight for you to visit. From here, your journey will move towards Dangmol Island via Khola Checkpost and Bird sanctuary island. Well known for its large green spaces of land that provide refuge points to several migratory birds that flock here every year during the winter season, Nalbana Bird Sanctuary is a paradise for bird watchers and will be a wonderful visit for you. Your Night stay will be on the Ferry at Dangmol Island. Dangmol, with its wide-spanning naturalistic beauty and scenic view, offers excellent opportunities to take a glimpse of the different aspects of nature at its best
Day 2:
After a delectable breakfast, the Ferry safari will take you to the famous Ekakula (Gahirmata) beach. The Gahirmatha Beach, with its panoramic view of the ocean, is also home to the Turtle Sanctuary, and here you can spot Olive Ridley Turtles. After that, you will take a boat ride across the river and gradually venture into the wide sea, and along with it, experience sheer thrill and excitement. Your night stay will be in the boat at the Island.
Day3:
The next morning, you will return to Chandbali Launch Ghat. Chandbali is a serene little hamlet without much the hustle-bustle of city life. Here, the quiet rivers flowing by the place add to the charm of the landscape. From here, after breakfast, you will proceed towards Bhadrak railway station for connecting train or Reserved transport to Balasore. Deriving its name from the Persian word Bala–e–Shore, meaning ‘Town in the sea’, the small district will be a delight to visit. From here on, you will drive further to Panchalingeswar. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel (Panthanivas). Your night stay will be at Panchalingeswar.
Day 4:
You will spend the next morning at leisure in Panchalingeswar, which will be followed by a sightseeing of the city. Situated on a gorgeous hillock near Nilagiri, in the Balasore district of Odissa, Panchalingeswar is a place of scenic beauty along with its religious significance. It derives its name from the five lingas, meaning “Panch Linga.” The five Shiva Lingas are located under a waterfall and can be touched by submerging your hand in Water. From here, your next visit will be to the intricately made Lord Jagannath temple. Next, you will take a small trek in the green Nilgiri hill nearby to the Panchlingeswar temple. With its lush green forests and scenic views, the hills of Nilgiri will be a delight to the nature lover in you. You will then drive to Chandipur, and upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Your night stay will be at Chandipur.
Day 5:
You will spend your morning at leisure at the Golden beach. The Chandipur beach is one of the unique sea beaches in the country. You will spend your morning with a leisure sunbath and walk on the beach, and in the evening leave, you will leave for Balasore railway station for your connecting train to your hometown. You will come home with wonderful memories until next time.
