Overview:

Raichak and its neighbouring Diamond Harbour have always been a popular picnic spot. But if you want to coddle yourself, then spend a night at the Radisson Fort, a part of which has been turned into a luxurious hotel. Enjoy the calmness of the surroundings, and pamper your tastebuds with lavish cuisines.
Day to Day Travel Slate:
Day1:
Travel for 2hrs from Kolkata and reach Raichak, located on the banks of River Ganges. The best thing about this leisure trip will be the Radisson Fort, where you will be staying overnight and pampering yourself with luxury. Apart from the hotel, the rest of the fort itself is the town’s main tourist attraction.
You will spend the rest of the day at the fort, enjoying every luxury offered to you along with some delicious meals at lunch and dinner. After a relaxing day, you will spend the night in Raichak.
Day2:
The following day post breakfast, you will check-out from the resort and visit Diamond Harbour. There you will enjoy the view of the Ganges. After that, take a tour around the harbour and visit the Chingrihkhali Fort and the lighthouse. You can also enjoy a boat or a jetty ride on River Hooghly.
After indulging in a soulful lunch, your weekend tour will come to an end, and you will proceed towards your home.
