From Andhra, the journey will take you to Odisha, the land of beautiful temples and scenic beaches. Here you will visit Puri in all its glory. It is also considered one of the most sacred pilgrim centers for the Hindus in India. With your journey beginning at the culturally and religiously significant Jagannath Temple, you will visit the charms of its beaches and the history engraved in its caves. On this journey, you will make fond memories of culture and history blending with nature and beauty and want to visit again, until next time.

Day-to-Day Travel Slate:

Day1:

After you arrive at the Vizag airport or Railway station, you will be transferred to the hotel. You will spend your day exploring the surroundings and will have the day at your leisure. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day2:

After your breakfast at the hotel, your adventure for a day full of sightseeing will begin. Your first visit of the day will be to Kailash Giri. Situated at a hilltop, this gorgeous park will give you a panoramic view of nature. As a popular tourist stop, Kailash Giri is also very well known for its 40 feet tall statues of Shiva and Parvathi. From here, you will next visit Bheemili beach. At this gorgeous beach, you can spend the morning walking by the Ocean or take a refreshing plunge in the water, simply relax on the golden sandy beach and crystal-clear water in front of you. Later in the day, you will visit other areas of interest like the Visakha Museum. With awe-inspiring historical treasures and gorgeous artifacts of the Kalinga Andhra region, the Visakha museum will be an informative and wonderful visit. Your next visit will be to the Submarine Museum, which is located inside an actual submarine, INS Kurusura, which was India’s 5th submarine. The museum is situated on RK beach, near the War Memorial in Visakhapatnam. With historical artifacts, pictures, and articles that share stories of valour, selflessness, and patriotism of the warriors, the museum will be a wonderful visit for you. Kali Mata Temple, with its brilliant artwork, breathtaking design, and modern architecture, is an experience to behold and hence will be your next destination.

Named after Tenetti Viswanadham, a well-known political figure of Visakhapatnam and a freedom fighter, Tenneti Park will be your next stop. A visit to the awe-inspiring Thotlakonda and Rushikonda beaches will wrap up your adventure for the day. In the evening, you will be free to shop in the local markets of Visakhapatnam. After a full day of fun and sightseeing, you will return to the hotel for an overnight stay. You will also have a choice for an optional stay at Rushikonda beach resort.

Day3:

After taking a scrumptious breakfast early in the morning, you will check out from the hotel and proceed towards your next destination, the famous Araku Valley. Located at an altitude of 911 m above sea level, the gorgeous valley will be a must-visit destination in your travels. En route, you will also cover gorgeous attractions like the Fishing Harbour House and the Simachalam Temple. Originally known as the Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, Simhachalam Temple is one of the most famous shrines in the area. After you arrive at the Araku Valley, you will check in at the hotel. After a delicious dinner, you will then be free to turn in for the night.

Day4:

The next morning, you will wake up amidst the lush greenery of Araku Valley.  You will have your delicious breakfast at the hotel and get yourself ready for the day’s sightseeing. Your first visit for the day will be to the famous Borra Caves. Located in the AnanthagiriMandal, Borra caves is one of the largest cave networks in the country. Dotted with lush green groves, the swiftly flowing streams of the Anantagiri waterfalls marks themselves as a wonder. From here, you will visit the Coffee plantation viewpoint with its rich aroma and Thatiguda waterfalls. Later, you will return to the hotel after a day-long tour and spend the rest of the evening at your leisure. You will enjoy a cozy overnight stay at the Hotel in Araku Valley

Day5:

After taking an early breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the renowned Araku Tribal Museum. Started in 1996 by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, the Araku Tribal Museum gives a beautiful glimpse into the traditional tribal lives look of Andhra Pradesh. Maintained by the tribal people, the museum will be a learning experience you are bound to cherish. Later in the day, you will proceed toward Gupteswar. Here, you will check in at the hotel and stay overnight.

Day6:

The next morning, after an early breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and proceed towards Gupteswar cave. Here you will visit the Gupteshwar Temple of Odisha. Due to the presence of a huge Shiva Lingam, which is fabled to increase in size as per local belief, the temple remains one of the most popular tourist attractions of the area. After the visit, you will proceed toward Jeypore. Upon your arrival, you will check in at the hotel and get ready for some sightseeing, beginning with the Jeypore Palace. Your next visit will be to Bagara, a gorgeous landscape where streams form three different waterfalls that descend together. After lunch, you will visit the Kolab reservoir generating Hydroelectric power, which is a top-rated tourist site, situated 3000 ft. above sea level. Just nearby, there is also the beautiful Kolab Botanical garden housing more than 200 varieties of flowers. Shakti and Duduma Waterfall will be your next destination with its awe-inspiring view. Your adventure for the day will wrap up with a visit to the Patraput Bridge. Patraput Bridge is a suspension bridge showing the detailing and beauty of old-age architecture. You will then return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Jeypore.

Day7:

Next morning, you will start for Rayagada. Upon your arrival here, you will check in at the hotel and take some rest. Your first visit to the day will be at the Maa Majhighariani Temple. It will be followed by a visit to the beautiful hanging bridge in Chekagada. Surrounded by the Niyamgiri hills, the gorgeous Chitkona falls will offer you a view of the scenic beauty of the lush green foliage. From here, you will move to visit Hatipathar, MinajholaGudari, and Kenduguda Dam. In the evening, you will spend your time at the local tribal market. Your overnight stay will be at Rayagada. You will also have a choice for an optional visit to Majhiguda, famous for DongriaKondh Tribal Market. Here en route, you will visit many tribal villages.

Day8:

After an early breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed towards Gopalpur. Here you will check in at the hotel. Later in the day, you will visit the famous Gopalpur beach and enjoy the splendid view of the coastline. Your overnight stay will be at Gopalpur.

Day9:

After taking your breakfast at the hotel, you will then proceed towards one of the most famous attractions of Gopalpur, the Lighthouse. Overlooking the gorgeous sunrise and sunset on the beach, stands the Gopalpur Lighthouse, with its impressive figure painted in red and white. Being a part of the seaside, The Lighthouse has seen its fair of natural calamities and lived through two of the most destructive cyclones. From here, then you will visit Dhabaleshwar Island.  Deriving its name from an old Lord Shiva Temple, the Dhabaleshwar island is famous for its golden beaches and Lord Shiva Temple. Despite being in ruins, Old Jetty is a monument that reflects the old glory of Odisha and will be your next stop. You will next visit Pothagad fort and Tampara lake, with an optional visit to Taptapani. Tampara Lake is a secluded freshwater lake that highlights the ecological diversity and richness of Odisha. Later in the afternoon, you will start for Puri. Upon your arrival at Puri, you will check in at the hotel. Your overnight stay will be at Puri.

Day10:

your day will begin with a visit to the famous Sun Temple, Konark. Renowned for its architectural beauty and rich culture and heritage, Konark remains one of the most sought tourist destinations in India. The 700 years old Sun Temple, built during the Ganga dynasty, is considered an architectural marvel and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. After you visit the sun temple, you will revive your energy at the gorgeous Ramachandi and Chandrabhaga beaches and find yourself engaged in thrilling water adventures. Later in the day, your next visit will be to the Raghurajpur artist village, which is world-famous for “Pata Chitra.” You will then return to the hotel and spend the rest of the evening at your leisure. Your night stay will be at Puri.

Day11:

You will check out from the hotel after breakfast. Your first visit for the day will be to the famous Jagannath temple. . Famous worldwide for its annual Rath-Yatra, the temple is one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage places and will be a must-visit for you. After your visit, you will then proceed towards Bhubaneswar to explore the Historical Caves of the Khandagiri and UdayagiriHills. Situated some kilometers away from the city, the twin caves are ornately carved and thought to have been chiseled out for Jain ascetics in the 1st century BC. The Khandgiri caves house a fine temple and give a fine view of the Bhubhaneshwar city line from its summit. You will later visit the famous National park, Nandankanan. The literal translation of the name means the “Garden of Pleasure” and is undoubtedly, one of the most picturesque parks in India. The park, which is also a host of white tigers, will bring you a splendid opportunity of discovering the wonderfully unique flora and fauna flourishing in their most natural habitat. In the evening, you will proceed to Puri railway station or Bhubaneswar for your return journey.
