Overview:

Goa is the ideal destination if you are looking for a tropical holiday. Both South and North Goa are lively regions to spend a couple of days away from your monotonous life. While the northern parts of Goa can be the heaven for all party lover, the southern part is mainly all about taking long walks on the white sand beaches of Colva and Benaulim, engaging in adventurous water sport activities at Bogmalo and enjoying the scenic beauty and Portuguese architecture all around South Goa.

Apart from the well-known parties hosted on the different beaches like Anjuna, North Goa also has its fair share of scenic beauty complimented by the famous Dudhsagar Falls and the beach of Vagator. Balancing the needs of both the party freaks as well as the beach and adventure lovers, Goa has it all.

Day to Day Travel Slate:

Day1:

After arriving at the Madgao Railway Station or the Dabolim Airport, you will be heading towards your hotel in Colva. After checking in, you can take some time to relax and later go to Colva Beach to enjoy the sunset and the nightlife. You can also have a taste of the delicious seafood or try the Goanese cuisine at the shacks or spend some time exploring the souvenir stalls at the beach. At night you will come back to Colva to spend the night at your hotel.

Day2:

The next morning you will embark on a day-long local tour. Colva is famous for its food, pubs, and bars. The village of Colva has tourist spots such as the old churches of Basilica of Bom Jesus and St. Cathedral, the temples of Shri Mangesh at Priol, and the Shri Shantadurga, the Ancestral Goa (Big Foot) at Loutalim and the beaches of Colva and Miramar. These locations speak volumes about Portuguese architecture. You will also be stopping at Farhagudi for lunch. After the local sightseeing and some shopping, you will come back to your hotel for the night.

Day3:

After early morning breakfast you will be out for a whole day visiting different beaches and indulging in otherfun water sport activities:

  • Benaulim – It is one of the serene beaches in South Goa. You can engage in different adventurous water sports like snorkelling, parasailing, etc. Or you can also choose to relax on the beach and enjoy the scenic beauty around you.
  • Vasco Da Gama – It is a port city in Goa on the Murmugao Peninsula with historical importance. While visiting this city, one can also enjoy snorkelling.
  • Bogmalo – This beach offers both serenity and commercialism, and it holds all kinds of wild and adventurous activities such as scuba diving.

Day4:

Today you will be travelling to the northern part of Goa and check into a hotel in Calangute. Later you can go out to the beach for a stroll and taste some of the local seafood. After the sunset, you can also hangout and enjoy the nightlife at the beach. At night you will come back to your hotel for the night stay.

Day5:

After early morning breakfast, you will get ready for day-long local sightseeing around North Goa. Your first stop would be the unique Coco Beach located at the mouth of the Nerul River on the Mandovi Estuary and the famous Aguada Fort. The next destination, which is the Mayem Lake (Maya Lake) is popularly known for the boating activity amidst the beautiful nature surrounded by pineapple plantation, cashew trees, hills, and valleys. After lunch, the tour will continue with a visit to the Vagator Beach. The place has a secluded nature famousfor its photogenic surrounding and dynamic cliffs. Vagator is also known for its local art, music, water sports, and nightlife. The stop to Vagator will be followed by the visits to the beaches of Anjuna and Calangute, and your last stop for the day will be the Panaji Handicrafts Emporium. At the end of the day, you will come back to your hotel to relax and enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Day6:

On the last day of your trip, you will be visiting the exquisite Dudhasagar Falls. You will be spending the whole day visiting the falls. The waterfalls ismilk-white in colour hence the name ‘Dudhsagar’ or ‘Sea of Milk.’ It is the tenth tallest waterfalls in Asia gushing down with the tranquil white water for a height of 1017ft. Apart from the falls, its surrounding will also amaze you with its natural beauty covered with a lush green forest of Bhawan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, where you will come across different species of wildlife. At night you will come back to your hotel at Calangute and spend the last night of your trip there.

Day7:

In the morning, after checking out from the hotel, you will be on your way to the railway station or the -airport to go back home, taking with you everlasting memories of the trip.
