Overview:

Sikkim is the mesmerizing North-East corner of India, which is enclosed by magnificent landscapes. It is the best destination if you are looking for a natural gateway. In this Trip, you will visit the Neora Valley with its spectacular views and travel along the ancient Silk Route that connects the Lhasa to India via Jelep La. The exquisite and popular destinations on the way are surrounded by the mighty mountains, deep valleys, and dense forests. The monasteries, temples, waterfalls, gardens, lakes, and more add to the mesmerizing beauty of this journey. Admiring the Tea plantations and observing the local culture will be a great experience. The colour-changing Mt. Kangchenjunga during sunrise is something that will leave you mesmerized. Trekking to the high altitude viewpoints is as exciting as it sounds. Amidst sightseeing at every location, you are sure to have a wonderful holiday and make memories of a lifetime.

Day to Day Travel Slate:

Day1:

On your arrival, You will be picked up from Airport/Railway Station by our representatives, and we will proceed towards Rishyap via Damdim, which will pass through a pleasant view of the Tea Gardens and Step Farming. Next, we will come across Gorubathan, which is a small town located on the bank of the Neora River. It falls on the way to another popular tourist destination called Lava. Lava is the Gateway of the Neora Valley National Park and has an incredible glimpse of nature. On reaching Rishyap, you can capture the wonderful sunset after lunch. Overnight stay at Rishyap.

Day2:

We will begin the day by photographing the beautiful Sunrise at 04:00 AM to witness the changing colours on Mt. Kangchenjunga & Himalayan Range from Resort. After breakfast, there will be a 1.5 km Trek to Tiffin Dara to get a 360-degree view of Himalayan Range. Then we will return to the resort during lunch and overnight stay at Rishyap.

Day3:

After breakfast, you will check out from Rishyap and proceed towards Kolakham. On the way, you will come across the majestic mountains and flowing Teesta River travelling side by side. We will also be sightseeing Lolegaon and Lava Monastery. The monasteries have traditional architecture and offer a panoramic view of the adjacent mountains. Overnight stay at Kolakham.

Day4:

Be ready early in the morning to witness the changing colours of Mt. Kangchenjunga during sunrise from the resort. After breakfast, a 4-5 hours trip to Neora Valley National Park, which also includes a 1-hour trek inside the forest. We will return to the resort during lunch. After lunch, we will leave for a 4 km journey by car to our last destination for the day, the Changey Falls. The soothing sound of the gushing water and then disappearing below is quite a mesmerizing sight. We will then take a walk amidst the blissful nature and return to the resort. Overnight stay at Kolakham.

Day5:

After capturing some beautiful photographs of the sunrise and having a delicious breakfast, we will start our journey towards the Sillery Gaon covering Lava and Pedong. After lunch, there will be an optional trek for 3.5 hours to Damsang Fort or Tinchuley View Point. Damsang Fort has the ruins of the last home of the Lepcha King and is an ideal place for bird watching. The Tinchuley Viewpoint, on a clear day, offers a breathtaking view of the Nathu La and Jelep La Pass. Overnight stay at Sillery.

Day6:

Get up early in the morning to witness the changing colours on Mt. Kangchenjunga and the Himalayan Range from the resort. After breakfast, start for Zuluk. On the way, we will be covering Ramitey View Point, Silent Valley, Rangli (for inner line permit), Lingtam, Kuekhola WaterFalls, Nimachen, and Padamchen. The Ramitey Viewpoint offers the mesmerizing view of the snow-clad peaks and the most extended view of the Teesta River through the Valleys. Then we will visit the Silent Valley, which is a vast stretch of green pasture surrounded by tall Pine Trees. Next, we will come across Rangli, a small town that has one of the most ancient routes towards Kapup and Nathu La; After which, we will reach Lingtam, the first village on the Silk Route with a check post.

Further on our way, we will come across the spectacular Kuekhola Falls. And the last two places of visit before reaching Zuluk will be Nimachen and Padmachen. These villages have charming weather and are bordered by dense forests. Overnight stay at Zuluk.

Day7:

We will start our day with the colourful Sunrise at 04:00 AM on Mt. Kangchenjunga & Himalayan Range from Ganek, Thambi, or Lungthung View Point. After Breakfast, we will be on our way for Silk Route Trail to reach Gnathang Valley covering Ganek, Thambi, and Lungthung View Points. These Viewpoints offer exquisite views of the mighty Mountains and Valleys from different angles. On the way, we will come across Laxmi Chowk, which is the point from where the road bifurcates into two- one going to Gnathang and the other to Kupup. We will follow the road to Gnathang and spend the night there.

Day8:

After Breakfast, today, we will proceed to complete the Silk Route trail by first covering the Adi Baba Dham. After that, we will visit the Tukla Valley, where the extraordinary beauty of the Tibetan Highlands may be experienced. Our next stop will be Kupup, which is at an altitude of 13000 ft. and provides a magnificent view of Elephant Lake. The Yak Golf Course that comes next on our way is the highest in the World. Jelep La Pass Viewpoint, which comes after, is a high altitude mountain pass that links Lhasa to India. It provides an awe-inspiring view with forests of Rhododendron all around. Overnight stay at Lungthung.

Day9:

After breakfast, we will proceed for Reshi Khola via Zuluk & Rangli. Reshi Khola is a small valley located by the bank of the River Reshi at an altitude of 2000 ft. We will stay at the Reshi Eco-Tourism Cottage beside the river.

Day10:

As our beautiful journey comes to an end, we will leave for Siliguri/NJP/Bagdogra via Kalimpong/Rongpo after breakfast and take home a camera full of pictures and memories that we captured on this Trip.
