Day to Day Travel Slate:

Day1:

On Arrival at NJP/Hasimara/Bagdogra Airport, you will be received and soon be transferred to the Chilapata Jungle Resort. You can spend the evening relaxing. You will stay overnightat the Chilapata Jungle Resort.

Day2:

Your trip will initiate with a boating experience through the Kaljani, Buribasra, and Baniya River,while you enjoy the blissful scenic beauty. Then you will be heading towardsCoochbehar, the only planned city in North East. It still beams with pride about its royal past. The famousBaneshwar Temple and  Madan Mohan Temple will be the next destinations. They attract a huge number of devotees throughout the year.Coochbehar Rajbari,the last destination for the day, is where you can spend some time noticing the sheer elegance and grandeur of this historic palace. After that, return to the resort for an overnight stay.

Day3:

Be ready for Jungle Safari at Chilapata or Mendabari by Jeep. It is one of the most prominent attractions of this place. The dense jungles are filled with the treasures of Biodiversity. A lot of animals like the one-horned Rhinoceros, Leopards, Elephants, Monkeys, and various species of birds can be seen here.

Day4:

You will be transferred to Rishop, it’s a 5hours journey to this small village in the Kalimpong District of West Bengal. The breathtaking view of the Kangchenjunga can be seen here.You will be checked in at the hotel Sonar Tori, and you can spend the evening at your leisure. You will havean overnight stay at Sonar Tori.

Day5:

The day takes off with an early morning, spectacular sunrise over the snowy Kangchenjunga. It’sone of the most refreshing sights of this journey. After breakfast, you will be going to Jhandi, which is famous for its serene ambiance and beauty. It is located on the way to Lava, which will be your next destination. Lava is famous for the Lava Monastery,which is one of the oldest monasteries. It is located beside the large Neora Reservoir Lake. The final destination is Kolakham. It is a hill station right across the hill from Rishop. From here, the hills can be seen stretching north for as far as eyes could see. Then you will be back at the resort by the evening to relax.

Day6:

Today, after having a sumptuous breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and get ready for the journey to Gajoldoba.It’slocated on the riverbank of Tista and is surrounded by Tea gardens, enriching its landscape.It’sa favoriteabode for tourists because of the varied species of Migratory Birds that visit this place during the winters. For food lovers, it’s an excellent opportunity to tantalize your taste buds with the local cuisines such as Boroli fish, the fresh river fish famous in North Bengal. For the overnight stay, arrangements can be made at BhorerAalo(WBTDCL) or Hornbill Nest Resort.

Day7:

As this week-long beautiful journey comes to an end, you prepare to check out from the hotel/resort. Proceed towards NJP/Bagdogra Airport and return to Kolkata with a box full of memories until the next time.
