Overview:

Day to Day Travel Slate:
Day1:
After arriving at Hasimara Railway Station, you directly reach your lodge, either the Barodabri Malangi lodge or the Chilapata Jungle Resort tourist lodge. Later take a tour of the Leopard Rescue centre and visit Totopara. Totopara is famous throughout the globe for the unique and indigenous Toto tribe, which is one of the primitive tribes of the world. You will spend the night at your resort.
Day2:
The following day after breakfast, you will set off on your jungle safari (by Jeep or elephant) through the dense forest of Chilapata near the Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary. After a short break, your next stop will be at Buxa Tiger Reserve for some wildlife experience where you can feel the thrill of spotting wild animals like leopard, variety of pythons, and many others. The place is also ideal for botany enthusiasts. Your visit to the well known Buxa Fort amidst the reserve will be of historical significance. Your night stay will be arranged at your resort.
Day3:
In the morning, your day will start with a visit to Jayanti, known as the ‘Queen of Dooars’, for its majestic view and tranquil ambience. It is a small village on the bank of River Jayanti. Next, you will be experiencing a jungle safari through the Gorumara Forest, where you might encounter wild animals, rare reptiles, and birds. Post lunch and some relaxation, you will be on your way to Kolakham via Lava. Kolakham is a small village nestled in Neora Valley Reserve Forest, facing the Eastern Himalayan peak. The place is a paradise for nature lovers, and you will be spending the night there.
Day4:
You will be spending your whole day in Kolakham, a small village in Neora Valley Reserve Forest, offering a majestic view of Kangchenjunga. This place is also a perfect spot for bird watchers with a variety of Himalayan birds chirping and perching nearby.
Day5:
Next day you will take a tour ofCharkhol. It is a sleepy hamlet in the Darjeeling district, which hosts the best view of the Kanchenjunga in the whole of West Bengal. The place is also ideal for spotting some rare birds and butterflies. You will be relaxing the whole day amidst the natural beauty of the place and enjoy the local organic food. You will also spend the night at Charkhol.
Day6:
With your trip coming to a happy end, you will be dropped off to NJP / Bagdogra from where you will travel back to your abode with a joyful heart.
