The destinations Cambodia, and Thailand, are the two most popular Southeast Asian vacation hotspots. Rich in heritage and natural beauty, these two countries have everything you can wish for while vacationing abroad. These tropical places have innumerable beaches where you can spend mornings soaking up the sun, engaging in a variety of water sports, connecting with nature and wildlife at the Safari worlds, treating your taste-buds with Oriental foods, visiting various temples and monasteries with awe-inspiring architecture and last but not the least, shopping. The local markets, as well as the high-end malls, will grab your attention.

Day to Day Travel Slate:

Day1:Bangkok (Temple and city tour)

The beautiful city of Bangkok is a multifaceted capital of Thailand. On the one hand, the city crawls with high rises built with modern architecture, and on the other hand, there are centuries-old temples, monasteries, and the Grand Palace built in the majestic and grandeur Oriental style.

After arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport (Bangkok Airport), you will be greeted with pleasure and taken to the hotel where you will check-in. You will freshen up and take a rest for a bit. Later embark on a city tour around Bangkok.

You will start your tour by visiting the splendid temples, which are locally called Wats. First, you will go to Wat Traimit, also known as the Temple of the Golden Buddha. The specialty of this temple is the 5.5-ton pure gold statue of Lord Buddha, showcasing the exemplary Sukhothai Art.

Next, you will go over to the largest temple in the city, Wat Pho Temple, where the idol is a statue of a Reclining Buddha. Followed by the temple, you will visit the exquisite Gems Gallery to come across expensive artefacts and pieces of jewellery made of valuable gems. The gallery also has a huge shop where you can indulge in some shopping.

After a day-long trip, you will go to an Indian restaurant and have dinner. Come back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day2:Bangkok (Optional Safari World and Marine Park)

The next morning you will be at ease. After having an elaborate breakfast at the hotel, you can lie around in your room and rest. If you wish, you can also check out Bangkok’s popular attraction and the open zoo called the Safari World.

The Safari World has four parts- Safari Park, Bird Park, Games Corner, and Macaw Island. You can spend the day engaging yourself with wildlife. Watch different exotic animals in their natural habitat, which will amuse you. There are several eateries inside the Safari World where you can have your lunch. Post that, you can also go and visit the Marine World. Later you will return to the hotel and spend the evening as per your choice. You ‘will you’re your dinner at a nearby Indian restaurant and spend the night in Bangkok.

Day3:Bangkok- Siem Reap

After breakfast, be on your way to Siem Reap, Cambodia, a long drive from Bangkok (410Kms, 8Hrs). To go to Cambodia, you will need a visa to cross the border. To make things go smoother, you can apply for an e-visa online from beforehand.

The city of Siem Reap Cambodia has a history blended with modernity. The place was the capital of the Khmer Empire ages ago and now is popularly known for the Angkor Temples.

After a long journey, take the rest of the day off and relax at the hotel. Have dinner at night, and stay in Siem Reap.

Day4:Siem Reap – Angkor Temples

Early in the next morning, take a joy-ride on the Tuk Tuk to the jungle where the Temple of Ta Phrom is located. After the quick tour, come back to the hotel for some appetizing breakfast.

An hour later, you will head towards the Angkor Thom City. Your exploration will start from the west gate, and soon you will be filled with awe seeing the different monuments inside Angkor Thom, starting from the grand Bayon Temple to the ruined beauty of the Terrace of Elephants.

In the afternoon, have your lunch at a local restaurant and head for Banteay Srei. Built-in 967 AD, it showcases the intricate architecture of the Khmer Dynasty. After your trip, come back to the hotel and spend the night in Siem Reap.

Day5:Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake – Departure

After having your breakfast, take a relaxing morning walk through the peaceful neighbourhood and then drive to the harbour at Tonle Sap Lake, board a local boat and float through the floating villages. The best time to take this trip is between July to February.

Return to the mainland of Siem Reap before lunch and have the rest of the day to yourself. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day6:

On the last day of the trip, leave for Bangkok Airport to board the flight back home. The days of this vacation will remain as an unforgettable memory with you for a lifetime
