Overview:

Rajasthan is known for its Historical Palaces, Tall Monuments, and Forts and its well- preserved Cultural Heritage. Rajasthan is full of colors, and so is its cities. The Pink City of Jaipur, The Golden City of Jaisalmer and the Blue City of Jodhpur, are some of the most beautiful destinations that you will travel along in this nine days trip. Also, the sacred temples that attract tourists and devotees all year along with museums and gardens,adding to this trip,are breathtaking. The spectacular light and sound shows, the local handicraft markets, and the Camel Safaris will make this holiday one of your best.

Day to Day Travel Slate:

Day1:

On your arrival at the Delhi Airport or Railway station, you will be received by our representatives. Once you check-in at the hotel, you will proceed for sightseeing of Delhi. You will start your trip by visiting Rajghat and Shantibana, the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. After that, you will proceed to Jama Masjid, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. It is a significant Mughal Architecture and is one of the largest mosques of India. Then you will drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.

Day2:

You will start your day with a healthy breakfast, check-out from the hotel, and then embark upon a guided sightseeing tour of Delhi. The first destination for the day will be the famous Qutub Minar. It is located in South Delhi and is the tallest minaret with a height of 72.5 meters. Next will be India Gate standing tall at Rajpath, which is a memorial for all the British Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the First World War. After that, we will head to the impressive Lotus Temple, and from there to the sacred Laxmi Narayan Temple. Later in the day, you will proceed to Jaipur with a 5 hours journey for 275 km. On reaching, you will check-in to the hotel, relax, and overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day3:

Today, your day will begin early by visiting places of the Pink city of Rajasthan, Jaipur. You will start with the grand Hawa Mahal, which is known for itsnatural air conditioner, which are the many windows that the Palace has. Then we will head towards our next destinations, City Palace and Jantar Mantar. City Palace is a beautiful example of Mughal and Rajput Architecture, and Jantar Mantar is currently a World Heritage Site as one of the largest Astronomical Observatories in the World. After that, you will visit the Amer area, which is known for theJaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort. They are both very majestic structures and have an extraordinary view. After lunch, you will rest for a while and get ready for activities in the evening that include the tours of the popular spots of Birla Temple, Albert Hall, Hawa Mahal, and Jal Mahal.Jal Mahal is a delight to watch as the Palace is half underwater and half above the Lake. In the evening, you will enjoy the light and sound show at Amber Fort. Next, you will proceed to Chokhi Dhani to attend a cultural program with dinner and then return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Jaipur.

Day4:

Early morning after having breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed to Bikaner today. It will be a 334 Km journey for 5.5 hours. On your arrival, you will check-in to the hotel and start exploring the city. First, you will visit the famous Junagarh Fort, which will take around 2-3 hours to go around the entire fort. In the afternoon, after lunch, youcan shop for some of the special handicrafts and traditional items at the Station Road or Kote Gate. The markets are famous for their local and traditional goods like paintings, footwear, clothes, and other accessories. Also, do not forget to visit Chotu Motu Joshi, a famous sweet shop. Overnight stay at Bikaner.

Day5:

You will start your day by visiting the Karnimata temple, followed by a visit to the Lalgarh Palace and the Rampuriya Haveli. The Lalgarh Palace is an excellent amalgamation of the Rajputana, Islamic, and European architecture. And the Rampuria Haveli is filled with beautiful wooden carvings. In the afternoon, you will visit theJain Temple Bhandasar, which is visited by devotees from all across the country to offer their prayers. Our last destination for the day, National Research Centre, will be a visit on a camel. After the joyful camel ride experience, you will return to the hotel, and overnight stay will be at Bikaner.

Day6:

After an early morning after breakfast at the hotel, you will start your journey towards Jaisalmer, which is 332 Km, and will take 5 hours to reach. Then you will check-in to the hotel at Jaisalmer. Later in the day after lunch,you will visit the beautiful sites of Vyas Chhatri and Gadisar Lake. Vyas Chhatri is a holy Brahmin Cemetery dedicated to Ved Vyas, who wrote the Hindu epic Mahabharata and is quite a popular sunset point. Gadisar Lake is a rainwater lake and is also of great importance as it was built to meet the water needs of the people. After the historical tour of the day, you will attend N.K. Sharma’s Puppet show, who is a popular historian. After enjoying the show, you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay at Jaisalmer.

Day7:

Today,you will start by visiting the famous Jaisalmer Golden Fort. This fort is become a popular tourist spot as the film “Sonar Kella” by Satyajit Ray revolves around it. At the fort, you will see Patwon Haveli, Salim Singh Haveli, Jain temples, and many other 300-400 years old mansions. After lunch, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Sam Sand Dunes that is just 40 Km away and take only an hour to reach.  On arrival, check-in a pre-booked desert camp where you will be greeted with a traditional welcome. You will also enjoy a desert safari tour on Camel and Jeep. During the safari visit the Desert Sunset point. In the evening, you can enjoy the cultural Musical Program of Mungniyars along with a buffet dinner.

Day8:

After checking-out from the Desert Camp, you will proceed to Jodhpur, which is a 280 km long drive for 5 hours. On your arrival at Jodhpur, you will check-in at the hotel, take some rest, and start sightseeing. The trip will begin by visiting the famous Clock tower and the local markets of Jodhpur. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

Day9:

After a delicious breakfast, you will head towards the mesmerizing destinations like Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, and Jaswant Thada. You will explore the glorious Mehrangarh Fort that stands on a hill of  125 km height and is said to be impregnable. Umaid Bhawan Palace is of brilliant architecture and was known as Chittar Palace because it was built with materials brought from the Chittar Hills. The last stop, which is the Jaswant Thada, is a memorial dedicated to Jaswant Singh, who was a promising ruler. After spending the whole day admiring the stunning beauty of the surroundings and local people, you will prepare for your return journey. By evening, you will proceed to Jaipur Railway station to go back to your hometown with a memorable holidaying experience.
