Day to Day Travel Slate:
Day1:
On your arrival at Lucknow Airport / Railway station,you will be received by our representatives. You will soon be transferred to the hotel for check-in. After relaxing along with some refreshments for a while, your trip will begin.The two historically important destinations that you will visit today are Bara Imambara and Chota Imambara. Both of the monuments are quite critical architectural landmarks. The Bara Imambara, built by the Nawab of Awadh,has been made to employ the people and save them from a dangerous famine. It is famous for a fascinating labyrinth or Bhool Bhulaiya” that lies within. Situated to the west of Bara Imambara lies the Chota Imambara. It is a magnificent monument and was constructed in 1838. Muhammad Ali Shah, the third Nawab of Awadh,built it as a Royal tomb for himself. As your professionally guided tour with all the exciting facts about the monuments comes to an end, you will enjoy the rest of the day relishing some of the popular dishes of Lucknow likeLucknowi Biryani and Tundey Kebab. After the delicious encounters, you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay at Lucknow.
Day2:
With an early morning breakfast at the hotel, we will head for elaborate sightseeing. This city is known for its culture and heritage and some of the best historically significant sites of India. Our first stop for the day will be at the Lucknow Museum. The museum was established in 1863 and consisted of various preserved artifacts and natural objects which are remarkable to know and observe. Next, we will visit the Rumi Darwaza, a 60 feet tall gateway to the Old City of Lucknow. It is quite an essential landmark of the city and one of the best examples of Awadhi Architecture.Then we will head for the Chhattar Manzil, which is commonly known as the Umbrella Palace, that stands erect by the Gomti Riverbank. It is a genuinely complex product of Indo-European Architecture and gives a mesmerizing view of the flowing river. After that, we will head for two famous parks, namely Begum Hazrat Mahal Park and Dr.Ambedkar Park. The Hazrat Mahal park is enriched with flora, and it was built in memory of the brave Begum of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah. And Dr.Ambedkar Park was constructed in dedication to Dr.Bhimrao Ambedkar, who spent all his life fighting for Humanity and Justice for people.
You can spend a while amidst the greenery in these parks. Next, the British Residency,where British Generals lived, isanother famous tourist spot. The last two places on your list would be Aminabad and Lucknow University. Aminabad is one of the oldest markets of Lucknow,which is always engaged with people shopping. You can buy some tokens or gifts to take back home from there. Lastly, Lucknow University, established in 1994, is one of the oldest and most prestigious Universities where students across India come for their Higher Education. After completing the long list of destinations of the most famous buildings, monuments, and places of Lucknow, you will tantalize your tastebuds with dishes such as Makhan Malai (Daulat ki Chaat), the famous Kulfi, Rabri, and Lassi. You will then return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day3:
Your day will begin with a leisurely breakfast, after which we will head towards the popular Lucknow Zoo. You will find varied species of animals and birds there, and it is a delightful treat for children to observe them. Next, you will be dropped off at Hazratgang, located in the center of the city. It is notably a significant cultural site amidst the people of Lucknow. This historic marketplace is filled with various shops and restaurants, movie theatres, shopping malls, and a library. Popular items of this bazaar are Jewellery, Handicrafts, Handloom, Electronics etc. The Lucknow Chikan is a traditional specialty, and tourists love to buy the item in any possible form of their choice. After the wholesome tour coming to an end, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day4:
After a healthy breakfast, today, you will leave for the Airport/Railway Station. With your journey coming to an end, you will return home with lots of memories and beautiful cultural experience of the city of Lucknow.
