Overview:

Leh is viewed as one of the most picturesque places in India. It is the capital of the Himalayan realm of Ladakh. In this trip, as you travel through Leh-Nubra (Hunder)-Pangong, you are sure to have the most thrilling and adventurous journey of your life. The mountains dominated scenery, the enchanted valleys, the beautiful lakes and the small villages on the way, are sure to capture your sight. With the clear blue sky above your head, the snowy white clouds floating around, and spending nights in tents under the starlit sky, it will be the most memorable journey that you have ever had.

Day to Day Travel Slate:

Day 1:

On your arrival at Leh airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2:

After a delicious breakfast, we will drive for the local trip. Our first destination for the day will be Hemis, where the Hemis Monastery is situated. It is a Himalayan Buddhist monastery (gompa) of the Drukpa Lineage.The next stop will be the famous ThikseyMonastery, a place of pilgrimage that is known for its historic architecture. After that, you will visit the Shey Palace that gives a far-reaching extraordinary view from its complex. The last two destinations for the day would be Leh Palace & Shanti Stupa. Leh Palace, also known as ‘LhachenPalkhar,’ is one of the biggest tourist attractions and gives a stunning view of the mountain ranges. The Shanti Stupa is a whitish dome-shaped structure, that looks spectacular when illuminated at night, and gives a panoramic view of the sunrise and sunset. After visiting the Shanti Stupa, you will return to your hotels for an overnight stay.

Day 3:

After breakfast, today, we will drive to Nubra Valley that lies in the north via Khardung La, which is the highest motorable road in the world (18,380ft). The Nubra Valley is one of the best campsites in Ladakh, and you can find a spot to set up a camp near the Hunder Sand Dunes. In the afternoon, you can enjoy the camel ride in the dune. The night stay will be at the Hunder village.

Day 4:

After breakfast, we will drive to Pangong Lake through the Shyok Road. Pangong lake is the highest saltwater lake in the world. Its beauty is so mesmerizing that you can spend the entire day and still want for more. This lake acting as a corridor between India and China runs for almost 160kms. It is known to appear in different colors during different times of the day. The starry night and the sunrise at dawn will be the most enthralling experience during this trip.

Day 5:

Today, after a healthy breakfast, we will leave for Leh via Chang-La. Chang-La is a high mountain pass and the third highest motorable road. It is located near the border of China and is covered with snow all year. With this incredible journey through Chang-La, you will be back to Leh.

Day 6:

As the memorable trip comes to an end, you will proceed to check out of the hotel. In the morning, you will drive to Leh airport, taking back with you some of the world’s best captured moments.
