Overview:

Garhwal is a district of the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is enclosed by ecstatic sceneries and is the best destination for pilgrims and trekkers.The mighty mountains and deep valleys surround it. This is a sacred place for Hindus that beholds the temples of Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri. In this weeklong trip, you will visit Dehradun, Rishikesh, Mussoorie, Dhanaulti, and Chakrata. The spiritual effects of this cultural and traditional place will leave you speechless. Amidst sightseeing at every location, you are sure to have a wonderful holiday and make memories of a lifetime.

Day to Day Travel Slate:

Day1:

On your arrival at Dehradun Airport, you will be received and transferred to Rishikesh. On reaching Rishikesh, you will check-in at the hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, you will attend the famous Ganga Aarti – the ritual of Ganga Puja.

Day2:

After breakfast, you will go for sightseeing at Rishikesh. Rishikesh is a religious spot located at the lap of Himalayas. We will first visit theLakshman Jhula, which is a long hanging bridge made in honor of Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Ram. Next, we will visit Gita Bhavan, which is one of the most prominent Ashrams of Rishikesh, and it is known to offer free food and stay for pilgrims. You can sit and meditate in its complex and also enjoy the writings from the Hindu holy books like Ramayana and Mahabharataengraved on its walls. Then with a 2 km ride from Rishikesh, we will reachRam Jhula. It is quite a famous place attracting many devotees. It is a bridge similar to Lakshman Jhula but is a little longer than that. Then we will head towards our last destination, the Samadhi of Baba Kali Kamli, which has a very spiritual ambiance.You can also have an adventurous River Rafting experience in river Ganga.

Day3:

Today you will transfer to Mussoorie, which will be an 80 Km drive for 3 hours. It is a beautiful hill station located at an altitude of 6000 ft. On the way, we will visit Mussoorie Jheel, which has an amazing view of ducks and other birds flocked around. After check-in at the hotel, you can spend your leisure time at Mall Road. Overnight stay at Mussoorie.

Day4:

After a healthy breakfast, we will proceed towards sightseeing. Our first destination will be Kempty Falls,which is a mesmerizing creation of nature, and you can take a refreshing shower there. Next, we will visit the highest point of Mussoorie, which is Lal Tibba. Itprovides some of the most panoramic views. After that we will go to the second highest point, Gunhill, that got its name during the British Rule. Our next spot will be Bhatta Waterfalls, which is a real beauty and offers people a fun and joyful experience. Our last destination will be Benog Wildlife Sanctuary, which is full of Pine trees and is home to a lot of Wild Animals and varied species of Birds.

Day5:

With a 24 km drive, you will be transferred to Dhanaulti. It is famous for the picturesque mountain views and its serenity. On the way, you will visit Surkunda Devi’s Temple, where you have a steep 2 km trek to reach the sacred temple. We will also go toKanatal, from where you can witness the breathtaking 180-degree view of the mountain ranges. Overnight stay at Dhanaulti.

Day6:

Today, with a 5 hours drive for 122 km, you will be transferred to Chakrata. It is a quiet, beautiful place far from the hustle-bustle of city life. The Tiger Falls located there is a tranquil and blissful tourist spot that is a must-visit.Another spot which is a paradise for travelers is Deoban, with its panoramic view of the Himalayas.

Day7:

After breakfast today, you will leave for Dehradun. After that, you will travel to Delhi Airport for your return journey, with a lot of memories anda camera full of pictures.
