The hill stations are also a blessing for the adventure seeker in you, because of the hills and abundance of sports activities. On this trip, your visit will range from a peek into the life in monastic villages to the brotherhood found within Golden Temple. Your adventure will conclude in the streets of Amritsar with a food trail. Hence, this trip offers you the perfect blend of natural and man-made wonders to enjoy.

Day to Day Travel Slate:

Day1:

Flight to Delhi. After a little layover at Delhi airport, you will take a connecting flight to Dharamshala (Gaggal). Transfer to Upper Dharamshala (McLeod Ganj). Check-in at the hotel. Your evening can be leisurely spent shopping for meticulously crafted tribal Jewellery and Tibetan accessories. Return to the hotel, followed by a night stay.

Day 2:

After breakfast, your day will begin with a visit to the Bhagsunath Temple. Highly revered among the Gorkha community, the temple is famous for two pools that are believed to have healing properties. Decorated with colorful temple flags, Dalai Lama Monastery, and its serene ambiance will be your next destination.Tsuglagkhang Complex, a monastic village, home to Dalai Lama, is an exciting place to visit for the tourists and the pilgrims. Here, you can visit the Namgyal café, the Tibetan Museum, and the Kalachakra Temple with its captivating mandalas and statues.

Day 3:

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Kangra valley. With the Dhauladhar range rising in the north, the view is dramatic and breathtaking. The Chand Museum offers an insight into the royal lifestyle of Himachal, it will be your next stop. This will be followed by a visit to one of the Shakti peethas, the Jwalamukhi temple. The characteristic terrain and the climate of Himachal plays an important role in crafting the perfect cup of tea. And so your last stop for the day to explore will be Kangra valley Tea garden. Return to Dharamshala followed by a night stay

Day 4:

After breakfast, transfer to the beautiful town of Dalhousie. The town, with its old-world charm and pine-clad valleys, is a beauty to behold. After arrival, check-in at the hotel. Your late afternoon will be occupied with a visit to Subhas Chowk and Gandhi Chowk. The bustling and colorful streets of Gandhi Chowk are home to unique handicrafts ranging from the Tibetan market to Himachal Handloom and Craft Centre.

Day 5:

After breakfast, you will proceed for the beautiful town of Khajjiar. It is a quaint little town with a unique combination of pastures, lakes, and forests. Enroute, you will visit the Kalatop Reserve Forest. Containing a multitude of flora and fauna, Kalatop Reserve Forest is home to Leopard, bear, Langur, jackal, Himalayan Black Marten, and countless beautiful birds. You will find yourself enthralled at the diversity that nature has to offer. A full day well spent at Khajjiar, enjoy the ridges of Pirpanjal. Back to Dalhousie, a night stay at Dalhousie.

Day 6:

Transfer to Palampur. It is a beautiful hill station surrounded by tea gardens and forests of pines and Deodar. It is a serene place just to sit back and enjoy the tranquility of chirping birds, and natural surroundings.

Day 7:

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Amritsar. On arrival at Amritsar, check-in at the hotel. Your evening will see a visit to the Golden Temple in its most pristine hour with the sun setting and reflecting through the temple. The Golden Temple is not just the central religious temple for the Sikhs but also a universal symbol for harmony and brotherhood.

Day 8:

Your plan for the day will be local sightseeing in Amritsar. Your first destination will be the historic JallianwalaBagh with its history of colonial rule. You will then proceed for a food trail in Amritsar at its local places. Local delicacies of Kulcha, Jalebi,andPooriCholey will be a treat for the food lover in you. After lunch, you will proceed for the Wagha Border. Famed for its military closing ceremony, it gives us a peek into the prowess of India’s military. Return to hotel and night stay at Amritsar.

Day 9

Departure for the airport and back to Kolkata. This trip will be whirlwind of adventures for you, leaving you with unforgettable memories, until next time.
