Overview:

Camping can just be the perfect plan if you are looking for a vacation filled with adventure and excitement while enjoying the beauty of nature. Spending a few days in a camp under the clear sky studded with stars and breathe fresh air, away from the bustling city life, camping can offer you everything. Trekking and camping in the Spiti Valley region can be your next destination for a quick camping getaway.
Known as one of the coldest places in the country, Spiti Valley is located in Himachal Pradesh with an altitude of 12,500Ft above the sea level. As the term ‘Spiti’ suggests in the local dialect ‘The Middle Land’, the place is located in the middle of India and Tibet, separating them from each other. The place has post-card worthy scenic beauty all around, bordered by the Himalayan Range.
With its snow-capped mountains and high altitude, the valley serves as an ideal trekking destination in the country for experts. All the adventure and trekking lovers set up their base camps in the capital, Kaza, and treks higher up to the Spiti Valley, which serves you with gorgeous views of the place. The ideal time to trek through this paradise would be the summer months when you can access the motorway directly to Spiti, as for most of the year, the snow-filled long winding roads keep the valley secluded from the rest of the country and makes it impossible to trek.
Over the years, trekkers and adventure seekers have preferred and loved this spot because of the majestic panoramic views of the surrounding that it offers along with unforgettable, exciting trekking experience.
