Day to Day Travel Slate:

Day1:

After taking a flight to Jodhpur, you can reach Jaisalmer via train (294Kms, 6hrs). On reaching Jaisalmer, you will check-in to a hotel and take some rest after a long journey. Later in the day, you can take a local tour around the ‘Golden city.’
Jaisalmer is a city of honey sandstone castles, deserts, and high sand dunes, which has always been a major tourist destination where people come to visit from all over the world. The vast deserts of the city offer camel ride through the stretches of golden sand. The ‘Golden city’ is a concoction of culture, traditions, heritage, and colorful handicrafts.
Your local sightseeing around Jaisalmer will start with the Jaisalmer Fort. Declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the fort is a small town in itself spread across a vast area with houses, temples, and restaurants. It is one of the largest forts in the entire state and is also called as ‘Sonar Qila’ or ‘Golden Fort’. Your tour will continue with the visit to some temples and other Havelis, the water reservoir of Gadsisar and the Vyas Chhatri, which is a cenotaph made in to honour the sage Vyas who was the author of the epic Mahabharata.
In the evening, after your local sightseeing, you will come back to the hotel and spend the night in Jaisalmer.

Day2:

Today you will have a fun-filled adventurous day ahead. After an early breakfast at the hotel, you will travel to the Indo-Pakistan border. There you will visit the Tanot Mata Temple and travel over to the historical site at Laungewala, which was the battlefield for the 1971 India-Pakistan War.
The second half of the day will be very adventurous for you. You will be spending the night in the desert in premium tents. You will reach the campsite in the afternoon and engage yourself with different desert activities. You will ride a camel and go on a safari. You can also enjoy jeep safari and watch the beautiful day coming to an end with the sun setting at the sunset point. Later at night, you will indulge in a lavish dinner followed by traditional Rajasthani folk dance and music and enjoy the clear night sky with some stargazing. You will spend the night in the camp.

Day3:

In the morning after breakfast, you will check-out from the campsite. Today you will spend the day visiting historical places and take a unique heritage city walk throughout Jaisalmer. During this tour, you will witness the culture of the town and enjoy the old stories of the place. The places that you will cover during this historical walk are Salam Singh ki Haveli, Badal Mahal, Patwon ki Haveli, and the Thar Heritage Museum.
Later you will engage yourself in another enthralling experience of a food-walk. You walk through lanes with the oldest food shops and taste the authentic Rajasthani cuisine in this guided tour.
After a satisfactory food tasting, you will leave Jaisalmer for Jodhpur. The long journey will leave you exhausted, so after arriving, you will check-in to a hotel and call it a day. You will spend the night in Jodhpur.

Day4:

This morning you will take a sightseeing tour around Jodhpur. You will explore through the famous Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, and the historical museum Jaswant Thada.
You will admire the stunning beauty of the city, often called ‘The Blue City’ because of the blue houses all around the city, and they make it looks blue from a bird’s eye view. Apart from the beauty of the city, you will also experience its culture and people.
Later in the evening, you will head for the Jaipur Airport or railway station to return to your abode after a memorable trip.
