Overview

Day to Day Travel Slate
Day1:
After arriving at the Chennai Airport, you will directly travel for 3hrs (165kms) to Puducherry. There you will check into the hotel and relax. Later in the evening, you can enjoy a walk through the French Quarters. You will spend the night in Puducherry.
Day2:
The next morning after breakfast, your day-long tour around Puducherry will begin with the visit to the famous Aurobindo Ashram. A short visit to this calm and silent spiritual community will make you feel rejuvenated. Your tour will continue with your visits to the Ashram’s handmade paper factory, the Varadaraja Perumal Temple, the famous ancient ManakulaVinayagar Temple, the Puducherry Museum, Botanical Garden and the church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. After lunch, you will visit the renowned Auroville and the architectural masterpiece- the Matrimandir. You can spend the evening at leisure and spend the night in Puducherry.
Day3:
On your last day in Puducherry, you will spend the day exploring around the town and indulge yourself in some shopping. You can also spend most of the day relaxing at the hotel.
Day4:
In the morning, post breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and be on your way to Chennai. After arriving in Chennai, you will check into your hotel and later take a tour of the city. You will visit Lord Shiva’s temple, the Kapaleeswarar Temple. You will also visit the first fortress of India, the Fort of St. George, followed by the visit to the Government Museum, which is known as the second oldest museum of India. Your last stop for the day would be the Marina Beach. It is one of the main attractions of the city as it is the second-longest beach in the world. Later you will come back to your hotel for the night.
Day5:
The next morning you will be ready after breakfast to leave for the airport to return to your abode after a refreshing couple of days.
